In the first game of round 29 of the Series A  Brescia will meet Inter Milan .

The game was scheduled earlier to give enough time for the recovery for Inter players before the return match with Bayern from Champions League, especially as Inter remained the only Italian team in European Cups.

Although the match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League is more important, Leonardo can not afford to make mistakes that will cost them victory in the match against Brescia.

Inter is now involved in fighting for the title in Serie A being 2nd place at just 5 points behind leaders AC Milan  and a wrong step in this match would decrease  Inter chances of rising to first position.

Inter have a lot of injured players

March 4, 2011 · Category: News · Comment

Inter managed to reach 2nd place with just 5 points behind rivals Milan, returning to title battle. If Inter play just like they did in previous matches is possible that soon to have a change of leader. After coming closer to 1 position, it seems that Leonardo is unlucky.

In this season Inter had  many injured players and this thing may prevent them to reach the first place.

After  defender Samuel and striker Milito, Leonardo must make do without three other players. Chivu,  Cordoba  and Kharja  are doubtful for next match . If  Cordoba has an old injury, it seems that Kharja and Chivu  have problems after the last round match against Sampdoria.

Even if Leonardo has to do it without several players Inter must win the next game to not lose contact with the leader.

Inter want Robin Van Persie and Andrei Arshavin

February 22, 2011 · Category: News · Comment

Although Inter Milan strengthened the squad this winter  by bringing  Sampdoria’s Giampaolo Pazzini and has quality players on this post as Samuel Eto’o, Diego Milito, or Goran Pandev, it seems that Leonardo is not satisfied with attack and wants more  offensive players.

It seems that owner Massimo Moratti was persuaded by his coach to spent a considerable amount of money for the purchase of two players from Arsenal. The Nerazzurri want Robin Van Persie and Andrei Arshavin.

Inter Milan is ready to offer €50 million  for this  two   players from Arsenal. If Robin Van Persie is probably at the best moment of his career, scoring 12 goals in all competitions in 2011 and would be harder to buy, Andrei Arshavin is at most delicate moment since he arrived at Arsenal losing the first eleven and would not say no to a new challenges.
