Milito out for the rest of the season

February 15, 2013 · Category: News · Comment

Last night Milito suffered a bad injury, during the Europa League game against CFR Cluj, which will keep him out of the football field for the rest of the season. The Argentinian international started the game after a period of absence, caused by other injuries, but was replaced after only seven minutes.

Rodrigo Palacio came in and he scored both goals of the game with wonderful finishing. Milito will need to have surgery as the anterior and collateral ligaments were affected.

This is really bad news for all Inter fans as Inter do not have too many options in attack. Milito was the only advanced forward in the squad as Cassano and Palacio are both more like a trequartista.

Some of the fans fear that this could have been the last match for Milito in Inter shirt. This injury might force “Il Principe” to retire.

Milito could as-well leave Inter as he doesn’t want to renew his contract with a cut on the salary and that might be fatal for him. It’s well know that Sneijder, Ju;io Cesar, Lucio, Maicon all left the club because they had huge salaries and did not accept salary cut.

Inter have a lot of injured players

March 4, 2011 · Category: News · Comment

Inter managed to reach 2nd place with just 5 points behind rivals Milan, returning to title battle. If Inter play just like they did in previous matches is possible that soon to have a change of leader. After coming closer to 1 position, it seems that Leonardo is unlucky.

In this season Inter had  many injured players and this thing may prevent them to reach the first place.

After  defender Samuel and striker Milito, Leonardo must make do without three other players. Chivu,  Cordoba  and Kharja  are doubtful for next match . If  Cordoba has an old injury, it seems that Kharja and Chivu  have problems after the last round match against Sampdoria.

Even if Leonardo has to do it without several players Inter must win the next game to not lose contact with the leader.
