Milito out for the rest of the season

February 15, 2013 · Category: News · Comment

Last night Milito suffered a bad injury, during the Europa League game against CFR Cluj, which will keep him out of the football field for the rest of the season. The Argentinian international started the game after a period of absence, caused by other injuries, but was replaced after only seven minutes.

Rodrigo Palacio came in and he scored both goals of the game with wonderful finishing. Milito will need to have surgery as the anterior and collateral ligaments were affected.

This is really bad news for all Inter fans as Inter do not have too many options in attack. Milito was the only advanced forward in the squad as Cassano and Palacio are both more like a trequartista.

Some of the fans fear that this could have been the last match for Milito in Inter shirt. This injury might force “Il Principe” to retire.

Milito could as-well leave Inter as he doesn’t want to renew his contract with a cut on the salary and that might be fatal for him. It’s well know that Sneijder, Ju;io Cesar, Lucio, Maicon all left the club because they had huge salaries and did not accept salary cut.

Will Sneijder replace Scholes at Manchester United?

July 12, 2011 · Category: News · Comment

Wesley Sneijder is one of the best and one of the most expensive central midfielders in Europe, but that would not be a problem for a club like Manchester United.

Sir Alex Ferguson declared at the end of last season that he is willing to change the midfield buy adding some quality players to the squad. More than that Hargreaves contract was not extended and Paul Scholes retired.

All this tings left Ferguson no option than spending on a quality midfielder  and Wesley Sneijder is probably the best solution.

Inter would allow the player to leave for a fee of around €40 millions. If the clubs will agree on a price then Inter could use that sum of money to rebuild the ageing squad.

Inter won the treble in 2010 and many specialist considered that most of the players reached their best and a rebuild-ed squad is more than necessary.

If the move will be done Sneijder has the possibility to win the title in the fourth championship as he already won it in Holland, Spain and Italy.

Anyway the premier league betting experts do not give Manchester too many chances of signing him in the near future. William Hill offers free football bets on the Premier League to Serie A and FIFA World Cup.

February 23, 2011 · Category: News · Comment

There are speculations that Inter Milan will let some players to leave the club in summer to make room for other players.

After the attack was strengthened this winter and  are expected  other forwards in the summer probably some of them will have to leave Inter. Goran Pandev is the first striker who  seems unhappy with  his team status .

Pandev was brought to Inter Milan by former boss Jose Mourinho in January 2010 and was a regular first team player  and helped the Nerazzurri to win another Serie A title as well as a Champions League . After Mourinho left, Pandev lost his place in the team.

Liverpool are the favorite to buy  Pandev, but it seems like Tottenham  also looking to bring Pandev to the Premier League.
