Will Sneijder replace Scholes at Manchester United?

July 12, 2011 · Category: News · Comment

Wesley Sneijder is one of the best and one of the most expensive central midfielders in Europe, but that would not be a problem for a club like Manchester United.

Sir Alex Ferguson declared at the end of last season that he is willing to change the midfield buy adding some quality players to the squad. More than that Hargreaves contract was not extended and Paul Scholes retired.

All this tings left Ferguson no option than spending on a quality midfielder  and Wesley Sneijder is probably the best solution.

Inter would allow the player to leave for a fee of around €40 millions. If the clubs will agree on a price then Inter could use that sum of money to rebuild the ageing squad.

Inter won the treble in 2010 and many specialist considered that most of the players reached their best and a rebuild-ed squad is more than necessary.

If the move will be done Sneijder has the possibility to win the title in the fourth championship as he already won it in Holland, Spain and Italy.

Anyway the premier league betting experts do not give Manchester too many chances of signing him in the near future.

Will Sneijder leave Inter for Manchester United?

March 29, 2011 · Category: Uncategorized · Comment

Sneijder came at Inter Milan because of Mourinho. The Portuguese coach was the one who insisted to have him at Giuseppe Meazza.

When Mourinho left Inter for Real Madrid a few players also wanted to leave and Sneijder was one of them.

Sir Alex Ferguson is a declared fan of the Dutchman. Ferguson tried to take Sneijder at Old Trafford also last summer but Inter refused to let go one of his best men. Sneijder was one of the favorites for the Golden Ball but the trophy was won by Messi after all.

Fergusson declared that he intends to change the midfield line this year and considers Sneijder the perfect replacement for Scholes.

Massimo Moratti declared that he will let Sneijder go only if the player wants this and the offer is a good one for the club.

The Dutch international started his career at Ajax. He moved to Real Madrid in 2007 where he played for 2 seasons before joining Inter. Sneijder has 20 goals in 75 appearances for the national team

Inter Milan to play Schalke 04 in Champions League quarter-finals

March 18, 2011 · Category: News · Comment

Today was held in Nyon the draw for the Champions League quarter-finals.

The remaining teams in  competition were Internazionale Milano, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Chelsea Londra, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Şahtior Doneţk and Schalke 04.

Everyone expected that in the quarters to be at least one derby and this happened.

The most awaited and most balanced game seems to be between Chelsea and Manchester United, which is a remake of the UEFA Champions league final from the season 2007-2008 when Manchester United won the trophy after penalties. Real Madrid will play against Tottenham Hotspur and the spanish team seems to be favorite. FC Barcelona will play against Shakhtar Donetsk and Inter Milan against the Germans  from Schalke 04.

The game  between  Inter And Schalke seems to be the most unbalanced of all, where Inter Milan are the owners of  Champions League trophy and Schalke are the lowest ranked team with chances to win the trophy.

Thus at first glance Inter have a great chance to move on, thing which is necessary to try to defend the trophy won last year.
