Will Sneijder replace Scholes at Manchester United?

July 12, 2011 · Category: News · Comment

Wesley Sneijder is one of the best and one of the most expensive central midfielders in Europe, but that would not be a problem for a club like Manchester United.

Sir Alex Ferguson declared at the end of last season that he is willing to change the midfield buy adding some quality players to the squad. More than that Hargreaves contract was not extended and Paul Scholes retired.

All this tings left Ferguson no option than spending on a quality midfielder  and Wesley Sneijder is probably the best solution.

Inter would allow the player to leave for a fee of around €40 millions. If the clubs will agree on a price then Inter could use that sum of money to rebuild the ageing squad.

Inter won the treble in 2010 and many specialist considered that most of the players reached their best and a rebuild-ed squad is more than necessary.

If the move will be done Sneijder has the possibility to win the title in the fourth championship as he already won it in Holland, Spain and Italy.

Anyway the premier league betting experts do not give Manchester too many chances of signing him in the near future. William Hill offers free football bets on the Premier League to Serie A and FIFA World Cup.

March 29, 2011 · Category: Uncategorized · Comment

Sneijder came at Inter Milan because of Mourinho. The Portuguese coach was the one who insisted to have him at Giuseppe Meazza.

When Mourinho left Inter for Real Madrid a few players also wanted to leave and Sneijder was one of them.

Sir Alex Ferguson is a declared fan of the Dutchman. Ferguson tried to take Sneijder at Old Trafford also last summer but Inter refused to let go one of his best men. Sneijder was one of the favorites for the Golden Ball but the trophy was won by Messi after all.

Fergusson declared that he intends to change the midfield line this year and considers Sneijder the perfect replacement for Scholes.

Massimo Moratti declared that he will let Sneijder go only if the player wants this and the offer is a good one for the club.

The Dutch international started his career at Ajax. He moved to Real Madrid in 2007 where he played for 2 seasons before joining Inter. Sneijder has 20 goals in 75 appearances for the national team
